The Warehouse Picking Manager manages a team of Forklift Operators by serving as a point of escalation and overseeing the team’s daily operations. The manager will act as a liaison between sales department and the Warehouse Picking Department by delegating work to appropriate staff based on needs of the sales/customer request. This position reports directly to the Warehouse Manager.
This position will be required to report to the SHI’s Knox/Ridge, Piscataway, NJ Warehouse location.

Responsibilities
Include, but not limited to:
Manages the order printing process and delegation of workload
Manages the picking process for the Integration Center to ensure orders are picked in a timely manner and staged correctly
Review day to day picking processes to determine areas that need improvement
Resolves issues regarding pick tickets or inventory
Coordinate and assist in the completion of corrective actions to ensure picking accuracy by working closely with the Quality Assurance team
Enforce policy and procedure with staff, and follow up with disciplinary action when required.
Act as a liaison between team and senior management to ensure all shipping related tasks are prioritized by providing updates on progress.
Complete employee performance evaluations, address personnel issues, and manage shifts
Conduct research to determine root cause of any item discrepancies such as lost or missing products
Helps maintain Picking staff’s job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
Assist Senior Management in interviewing, hiring decisions, and employee terminations
Qualifications
Associate's degree or equivalent work experience
Minimum 3 year of Warehouse experience
Minimum 2 years of Leadership Experience

Hazmat certification (must obtain within 6 months of hire date)
Unique Requirements
Overtime and weekend work are available, and may be required throughout the year
This position is expected to frequently bend, lift, walk and stand for extended periods of time
Position requires the ability to move or lift up to 50lbs
Additional Information
The estimated annual pay range for this position is $50,000 - $90,000. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
