Banded Peak Brewing started from humble beginnings with three friends opening a brewery and taproom in Calgary in May of 2016. ROLE SUMMARY:
Warehouse Operator will be primarily responsible for loading/off-loading trucks, also assisting the packaging team and taproom as required
Contract: September 23rd 2024 - March 14th 2025
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am - 3pm
Salary: $20/h
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare daily finished good shipments (completing finished good counts, wrapping pallets)
Safe operation of forklift when offloading and loading trucks and organizing warehouses
Managing the offloading of the deliveries of raw materials into the Brewery/Warehouse,
Receiving incoming raw and packaging materials, completing appropriate documentation
Responsible for EH&S procedures including trailer, forklift, and delivery van inspections
Assist the packaging team on the canning line, kegging line or with re-pack as required
Maintain warehouse – ensure floors are swept, garbage is emptied, pallets are organized
Perform bi-weekly raw and packaging material inventory counts to support month-end
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Forklift certification and valid drivers license is a must
1-2 years of Warehouse or Brewery experience is preferred
Ability to safely lift up to 50lbs
Ability to work safely in a fast -paced dynamic environment
Strong passion for Craft Beer
