DSJ Global is currently partnered with a Tier 1 Automotive Supplier looking to bring on a Warehouse Operations Manager in the Greater Charleston, SC Area.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead safety initiatives and promote a culture of health and safety.
Implement and drive continuous improvement practices such as 5S, Kanban, poka-yoke, and visual management.
Ensure adherence to SAP processes related to material delivery and warehouse operations.
Manage daily activities of logistics operations staff.
Coordinate distribution activities including shipping, receiving, warehousing, and line side delivery.
Collaborate with materials and production planning teams to meet product levels and stock layout plans.
Maintain accurate warehouse management records.
Develop and monitor performance metrics to support cost savings and delivery performance.
Work closely with the quality team on supplier delivery and quality issues.
Keep management informed of progress and developments.
Manage training and development plans for logistics operations staff.

Implement lean manufacturing practices and lead Kaizen events.
Conduct daily production meetings and monthly operations reviews.
Develop and implement training plans for associates.
Facilitate an environment for process improvement suggestions.
Support the quality management system and maintain customer relationships.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
5-7 years of logistics management experience.
3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
