Richelieu Hardware is looking for a Warehouse – Material Handler for our division in Waterloo, ON.

More specifically, the main responsibilities of the position are to :

• Order picking & shipping:
• Efficiently pick customer hardware orders for shipping and pickups ensuring that the correct quantity and type of product is picked correctly and free of damages
• Package orders for shipping properly to ensure no damages will occur in shipping
• Manage return of hardware material for customers
• Perform cycle counts on hardware as required
• Assist in ordering of hardware stock
• Operate any equipment in performance of order filling (ladder, strapping machine, weight scales etc.)
• Inspect equipment daily
• Manual warehouse duties where needed
• Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work are, assist in maintaining the cleanliness and security of the warehouse and equipment
• Conduct operations in a manner that promotes health & safety

Requirements

• High School Diploma Grade 12
• Previous warehouse experience would be an asset
• Valid Forklift Driving Competency Card, an asset.
