The Warehouse & Inventory Manager is responsible for overseeing the storage, handling, and organization of inventory in the warehouse. This role ensures that all supplies, ingredients, and equipment are properly stocked, stored, and distributed to the restaurant's kitchen and service areas as needed. The Warehouse & Inventory Manager plays a key role in inventory control, reducing waste, maintaining stock levels, and ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations.


Part of the scope would be:

  • Oversee the accurate and efficient management of the restaurant’s inventory, including food, beverages, packaging materials, and non-food items.
  • Implement inventory control systems and maintain up-to-date records in inventory management software.
  • Monitor inventory levels to ensure stock is available for operations while minimizing overstock and waste.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment that meets food safety and health regulations.
  • Oversee the proper storage and handling of ingredients and supplies, ensuring correct temperature control for perishable items.
  • Oversee the receipt of all deliveries and ensure items match order specifications (quality, quantity, and packaging).
  • Ensure accurate documentation for incoming and outgoing inventory (e.g., delivery receipts, inventory logs).
  • Work closely with the Logistics Officer or purchasing team to ensure that inventory is restocked in a timely manner and at the best prices.
  • Implement inventory tracking and reporting systems to identify trends in stock loss or overuse.
  • Prepare regular reports on inventory levels, stock turnover, waste, and financial costs related to inventory management.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, including incoming and outgoing stock, product usage, and reorder levels.



Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related field

2. Proven experience as an Inventory Manager, Warehouse Manager, or similar role in the foodservice, restaurant industry or FMCG.

3. Strong knowledge of inventory management systems, warehouse operations, and food safety regulations.

4. Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
