Job Summary: Responsible for daily operation and management of the warehouse, central distribution, and copy center. Manages warehouse inventory, receipt of all organizational materials, distribution, par station replenishment, patient equipment management, and printing. Job Functions: Manages operations and staff within the warehouse and central service, including development and review of production and performance standards, time and attendance review, staff scheduling, hiring/terminating/evaluating, in-service/training, etc. Serves on organizational committees as representative of Materials Management. Manages medical-surgical inventories, meeting turnover, dollar value and fill rate standards Oversees departmental information systems and Wavemark systems. This position will oversee the supplies in the Georgia Heart Center and Interventional Radiology. Generates reports, reviews data and ensures efficiency of services provided. Manages departmental budget, including submittal of capital purchase requirements and assisting in the preparation of projected operational expense needs. Develops and reviews departmental policies/procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and to maximize quality assurance and safety standards for staff and patients. Ensures proper preventive maintenance on all patient equipment within the warehouse and distribution departments. Job Requirements: Education: Completion of High School diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in business or a related discipline preferred. Experience: A minimum of five years of management level experience in materials management. Healthcare experience in a medical/surgical organization preferred. #INDEED456
