WAREHOUSE DEVELOPMENT SUPERVISOR

This is a Warehouse Development Supervisor role, representing the APAC Warehouse and Logistics Director for the assigned Taiwan market and any other warehouse services as directed. The position supports setting up and delivering the Warehouse Strategy and operational plans for the Taiwan market, operations, and projects within their defined area of responsibility.

  • The position is to supervise and streamline the Warehouse operations within the market, ensuring Compliance with corporate safety, quality, security & sustainability requirements, and with local legal & regulatory requirements
  • Efficient operation of warehouses partnering with factory warehouse teams, planning, logistics, trade, and Route To Market teams
  • Maintenance of high standards according to the Warehouse Excellence playbook to build operational excellence capabilities, while initiating and deploying improvements
  • Support of the End-to-End Global Supply Chain agenda and help in building a more resilient, efficient, and connected organization by collaborating with the Warehouse community, sharing and implementing best practices.
  • Proactively participate in Global/Regional projects and contribute to their implementation by closely working with other warehouse colleagues

As the Warehouse Development Supervisor, you will

  • Lead and coordinate with 3PL the overall flow of goods, including receiving, storing, packing, and shipping, while adhering to quality and safety standards. Oversee inventory management, including tracking of stock levels, conducting regular audits, and contributing to optimizing inventory turnover. Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize warehousing and logistics operations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods to customers.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and distributors to establish strong relationships and ensure timely product availability.
  • Maintain and develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure effective coordination and communication.
  • Analyze the required data, identify trends, and develop strategies to minimize costs, improve efficiency, and contribute to the enhancement of the supply chain performance.
  • Measure and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) of warehousing and logistics activities.
  • Continuously discuss with 3PL and implement best practices, technologies, and automation solutions to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.
  • Create, track, and report annual ASP budgets with regular ME and OL
  • Employees are responsible for ensuring their health and safety, as well as that of others, by acting responsibly and cooperating with their employer. They must understand workplace hazards, follow safety procedures, participate in training, comply with legal and company safety requirements, demonstrate safe behavior, and report incidents or unsafe conditions.

Requirements

  • University graduated
  • At least 2 years of warehouse operations with continuous improvement projects or equivalent experience. Customer service and transportation experience are an advantage
  • IWS knowledge and capability preferred.
  • Core warehouse management operations knowledge inbound, put away, storage strategies, order preparation, order-picking, stock accuracy, packing, and outbound.
  • Vendor management, oversight of 3PL outsourced models
  • Financial management and governance are an advantage
  • Computer literacy. MS Office, ERP, WMS.
