The Role

We are looking for a Warehouse Coordinator with a genuine passion for excellence and a desire to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial company. This role will oversee the receiving, storage, and outbound distribution process of Viridi’s products and supplies in our Richmond, CA facility. Inbound responsibilities will require constant communication and coordination with the procurement staff, suppliers and shippers. Consistent coordination and organization with Sales and Service is necessary for outbound distribution, displaying keen attention to detail on all paperwork and record keeping. This candidate will also have a large role in inventory management and will control the flow of supplies and equipment while tracking and carefully analyzing the inventory.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar position and a solid working knowledge of computer systems, WMS, and inventory management software.

Job Responsibilities

INBOUND:

  • Coordinate with corporate procurement staff on everyday basis
  • Receive, inspect material from incoming shipments for quality of goods and volume and unload shipments.
  • Handle paperwork and digitally process packing lists upon shipment receipt.
  • Identify any bottlenecks in the process and follow up in case of delays.
  • Manage and return incorrect shipments.
  • Record product transactions within an ERP system (Odoo)
  • Participate in cycle counts
  • Collaborate with all relevant stakeholders, such as suppliers and shippers

OUTBOUND:

  • Coordinate with Sales for outgoing shipments of finished goods and part orders and coordinate with Service for incoming and outgoing assets and part orders.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork for shipments including Bill of Lading, Dangerous Goods Paperwork, Packing List, CofC and Customs Paperwork when necessary.
  • Ensure all parts and assets are ship ready and prepare all outgoing shipments prior to shipping.
  • Prepare machines and other equipment for shipping when a specified shipping date is coordinated with the customers
  • Ensure Delivery Orders are properly completed and documented.
  • Record keeping of all outgoing and incoming shipments paperwork.
  • Load Outbound shipments


INVENTORY MANAGEMENT:

  • Control the flow of supplies and equipment, track, and analyze inventory
  • Follow FIFO procedures when putting away and taking out inventory
  • Discharge items as they leave inventory
  • Perform inventory counts and investigate discrepancies
  • Notify QC department of delivered items requiring inspection
  • Place purchase requests to replenish stock
  • Prepare reports on inventory operations, stock levels, and adjustments


Qualifications


  • At least two years of verifiable experience in a similar position.
  • Working knowledge of computer systems, and inventory management software
  • Fork Truck experience
  • Management experience in logistics, systems engineering, or similar preferred.


Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds


Salary

  • $71-81K depending on experience and qualifications
