Job Title: .NET Developer

Location: Irving, TX.

Duration: Long Term

Hybrid onsite - Irving TX (2-3 days/week)

PROJECT SCOPE: Resource will be providing support for Care Management applications

NOTES:: Initially video interview followed by Final Interview is onsite (F2F).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

•5+ years related work experience, Professional experience with technical design and coding in the IT industry

•Strong C# development experience including heavy experience with API's (writing from scratch, setting up, etc..)

•Experience with EDI healthcare transactions (specifically 278) is required

JOB SUMMARY:

IT Developers are responsible for the development, programming, and coding of Information Technology solutions. They will engage in all phases of the software development lifecycle which include: gathering and analyzing user/business system requirements, responding to outages and creating application system models. IT Developers are responsible for documenting detailed system specifications and will participate in evaluating, conducting performance testing, and all planned and unplanned maintenance for both internally developed applications and purchased products.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience with unit testing, release procedures, coding design and documentation protocol as well as change management procedures

• In-depth understanding of the systems development life cycle

• Proficiency programming in more than one object-oriented programming language; .Net, React.Js, Node.JS, JavaScript, HTML, VB.NET and C#

o May include languages such as; Hadoop, Storm, Spark, Kafka, Hive, NFI, Scoop, etc

o May include database knowledge in; SQL, MySQL, Oracle DB, PostgreSQL, Cassandra, dBase, MS Access, etc

• Proficiency using standard desktop applications such as MS Suite and flowcharting tools such as Visio

• Proficiency using debugging tools; Advanced Debugger, Allinea DDT, AQtime, ARM, CA/EZTEST, etc

• Proven experience as a .NET Developer or Application Developer

• Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC)

• Familiarity with the ASP.NET framework, SQL Server and design/architectural patterns (e.g. Model-View-Controller (MVC))

• High critical thinking skills to evaluate alternatives and present solutions that are consistent with business objectives and strategy

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

• Various Domain experience; Health Care, Financial, etc

• Experience using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodology

• Specific tools, languages and specialty skills may vary
