Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Vulnerability Management Consultant to identify, assess, and mitigate security vulnerabilities within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, risk management, and vulnerability assessment.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct regular vulnerability assessments using industry-standard tools.

Analyze vulnerabilities based on risk and impact, and prioritize remediation efforts.

Develop and implement strategies to manage and mitigate identified threats.

Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure secure access solutions.

Monitor and respond to vulnerability-related incidents and issues.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Provide training and support to staff on vulnerability management best practices.

Prepare reports and documentation on current security strategies and risks for upper management.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Vulnerability Management Consultant or similar role.

Proficiency in vulnerability scanning tools like Qualys, Tenable, and Rapid7, Orca

Strong understanding of network security principles and application security.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Cybersecurity or a related field.

Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH.

Experience with cloud security and DevOps practices.

Knowledge of ethical hacking and penetration testing.
