We have helped many Volunteers to land their next gig including career transition.About the OpportunityWe have embarked on a journey to build Version 2 of SkilledUp Life after having operated Version 1 (the so-called Minimum Viable Product) for 4+ years. Our chosen etch stack:

• Front-end: Vue.js with Tailwind CSS
• Back-end: Laravel PHP
• Database: MariaDB
• Hosting environment: AWS EC2 + S3
  
  

We are looking for front-end developers with Vue.js experience. The product team includes:

• Head of Product – Our Founder & CEO
• Product Manager
• 3 x UI/UX Designers
• 3 x Front-end Developers
• 3 x Back-end Developers
• 2 x QA
  
  

Our needs

• Fluent in English – both written and spoken.
• An undergraduate degree or similar education in Software Development is preferred but we are open to self-learned Volunteers.
• Demonstrable previous experience in the development of web applications.
• Proficiency in Vue.js – at least 6 months experience.
• Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, with the ability to create dynamic, responsive web interfaces.
• Familiarity with GitHub and version control best practices for collaborative development.
• Experience in Tailwind CSS to ensure modern, responsive, and aesthetically pleasing designs.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent record keeping.
• Self-learner and ability to execute tasks without any supervision.
• Ability to maintain the highest level of professionalism.
• Attention to detail.
  
  

ActivitiesWorking with our CEO and the product team, your Volunteer role includes but is not limited to:

• Progress the development of the web application.
• Daily commits.
• Test fully.
• Clear bugs identified.
• Refined based on user feedback.
