Summary

Company Overview

One of the fastest growing fintech companies that has built a full-stack financial platform for Bharat 2.0. They have multiple financial products on their platform, viz, Lending, Insurance and Investments. They have an AUM of more than INR 1000 cr and about 500 employees.

Role Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective financial strategies aligned with the company's objectives.
  • Oversee daily financial operations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the finance team, providing mentorship and fostering professional growth.
  • Manage the annual budgeting and forecasting process, collaborating with all departments.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory agencies for audits and compliance.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure cash flow management and working capital optimization.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with banking partners and investors.
  • Identify process improvements to enhance financial reporting and operations.
  • Implement financial systems and tools to streamline operations.
  • Advise on investment strategies and risk management practices.
  • Ensure alignment of financial operations with corporate strategy and goals.
  • Represent the financial operations in strategic planning meetings and decision-making processes.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in financial operations or management roles.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with financial software and tools.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience in process re-engineering and operational improvements.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Commitment to ethical financial practices and corporate governance.
  • Relevant certifications (CMA, CPA, etc.) are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for business requirements.
