Camino Search is happy to be supporting a leading technology and software platform in Paris to bring in a new VP of Controllership / Financial Controller.

In this pivotal position, you will work closely with our Chief Financial Officer to lead the transformation of reporting standards to Private Equity standards. Your expertise will be instrumental in improving financial systems and operations and enhancing key business KPIs. You will also take ownership of general reporting responsibilities and management accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the CFO to transition reporting standards to PE standards, ensuring compliance with French GAAP.
• Drive improvements in financial systems and streamline operations for greater efficiency.
• Provide actionable insights to enhance business KPIs, fostering continuous improvement.
• Prepare and deliver timely and accurate management accounts and financial reports.
• Support strategic decision-making by delivering robust financial analysis and forecasts.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and maintain strong financial controls.

About You:

• Professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with extensive experience in financial control or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of French GAAP and PE reporting standards.
• Proven track record of enhancing financial systems, processes, and operations.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on delivering measurable results and improving business KPIs.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and influence stakeholders.
• Strong working knowledge of NetSuite
• Fluent in English and French (both written and spoken).
