About the Role:
We’re looking for a senior engineering leader to head the technology organization for a growing CPaaS and telephony scale-up. You’ll own the full engineering org across multiple product lines, be responsible for building, running, and scaling systems, teams, and practices that deliver reliably at scale. This includes owning the org structure, health, and evolution of the tech org itself.
What You’ll Own
- Build, lead, and scale a multi-layered engineering org across CPaaS and telephony products.
- Design and evolve the org structure to support product growth, agility, and accountability.
- Own end-to-end engineering: product development, software quality, SRE, and Tier 4 support.
- Drive architecture, long-term tech strategy, and operational frameworks aligned with business needs.
- Define and roll out engineering best practices: agile, CI/CD, observability, and automation.
- Create a strong, healthy engineering culture with clarity, ownership, and collaboration at its core.
- Collaborate closely with Product, GTM, and Executive teams; strong stakeholder management is a must.
Who You Are
- 20+ years in engineering, with leadership roles in multinational product companies.
- Proven track record of leading large engineering orgs (200–400+ people) across geographies and functional areas.
- Experienced in CPaaS, telephony (VoIP, SIP, WebRTC), and real-time communications.
- Strong technical depth in cloud-native systems, scalable architecture, and AI/ML in communication systems.
- Well versed with designing org structures, hiring senior leaders, & scaling tech teams.
- Experienced in building and executing long-term tech strategy tied to business goals.
- Practical, execution-oriented, and comfortable managing senior stakeholders across functions.
