Create and manage container images and oversee the containerization of tools, focusing on migrating tools like Jenkins to container-based environments.
Oversee backup and recovery processes for infrastructure and application resources.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the packaging of image builds.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and implement solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automated provisioning, configuration, and operational management processes.
Leverage knowledge of hardware-based management tools such as Dell iDRAC, HP iLO, etc., for hardware-level management and control.
Ensure infrastructure automation adheres to security and best practices.
Document workflows, best practices, and troubleshooting procedures.
Requirements
Proficiency in Ansible for automation, configuration management, and orchestration of infrastructure.
Experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management in the data center (DC).
Familiarity with Kubernetes (provisioning, scaling, and troubleshooting) at a beginner level.
Experience with scripting languages like Python and Bash for task automation and tooling.
Understanding of networking concepts (IP addressing, subnets, DNS, routing, and firewalls).
Experience with CI/CD tools (e. g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Argo CD).
Understanding of monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
Experience with version control systems like Git.
Knowledge of hardware-based management tools such as Dell iDRAC, HP iLO, etc.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (e. g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
