AT A GLANCE (OVERVIEW)
As a Visual Merchandising Manager for Sunnies Face, you will be responsible for establishing aesthetically appealing and strategically planned store spaces that enhance the brand's image, increase sales, and create an exceptional customer experience. You will work with cross-functional teams, oversee visual merchandising projects, and ensure that the brand is represented consistently across all retail locations.
YOUR OVERALL MISSION & DAY-TO-DAY
Strategic Planning and Implementation
§ Collaborate closely with the Visual Merchandising team, as well as other relevant departments, to align design direction, product launches and promotional campaigns.
§ Stay updated on the latest design trends and ensure that all visual merchandising efforts are consistent with the brand’s identity.
Design Development
§ Conceptualize and plan designs in accordance with project briefs, key visuals, and brand guidelines.
§ Seek inspiration from Sunnies Face’s social media channels to ensure design alignment with the brand’s aesthetics.
§ Thoroughly proofread designs to ensure accuracy of colors and texts, minimizing the need for material reproductions that could impact budget and timelines.
§ Ensure timely delivery of high-resolution design files to suppliers.
Store Experience
§ Collaborate closely with the Store Design team to enhance the overall in-store customer experience.
§ Conduct regular store visits to verify that displays and visual elements adhere to brand’s standards.
Team Leadership and Development
§ Offer guidance and support to the visual merchandising team, fostering a culture of creativity and excellence. § Provide mentorship to junior team members and direct reports, assisting them in their professional growth.
Budget Management
§ Collaborate with relevant departments to manage the visual merchandising budget effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
YOUR TALENT (QUALIFICATIONS)
§ Bachelor’s degree in design/Fine Arts/ Multimedia
§ Visual merchandising experience gained from working as an Industrial Designer and/or Graphic Designer in retail or FMCG environment.
§ Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite
§ Strong understanding of design principles, retail aesthetics and brand consistency
§ Good communication skills including the ability to present thoughts and creative ideas.
§ Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and projects at hand
§ Ability to work methodically with keen attention to detail.
§ Contribute to team effort by accomplishing tasks as needed within strict timelines.
§ Have a comprehensive portfolio of relevant visual design work
