Our flagship product Syook InSite allows businesses to visualize their operations, providing information that can easily translate into measurable impact on the bottom-line. InSite is an Industrial Internet-of-Things (IIoT) solution that uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) beacons to generate highly-accurate location data of all your resources (both assets and people), at much lower costs than comparable technologies. The result: Quick RoI and Improved Operational Performance. It’s Industry 4.0, ready for deployment!

Role Overview

We are looking for a passionate and versatile Visual Designer with 2 - 4 years of experience to join our growing design team. This role is a blend of UI/UX and Graphic Design, and requires someone who can bring strong creative and user-centric thinking to everything from product UI mockups to social media campaigns.

You will work closely with the senior designer and cross-functional teams like product, marketing, sales, and operations to design engaging digital experiences in the form of wireframes, UI mockups, sales collateral, landing pages, presentations, videos and brand assets. Your work will help shape the visual identity of Syook and enhance user engagement with our products and content.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, UI kits, icons, and design systems.
  • Collaborate with PM, APM and Developers on prototyping, user research, information architecture, and user flows.
  • Design and execute marketing collateral: Presentations, business proposals, brochures, banners, videos, newsletters, social media content, and email templates.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions with stakeholders and contribute visual ideas to cross-functional projects.
  • Translate requirements and business goals into visually engaging creative assets.
  • Design webpage and landing page creatives in line with our branding.
  • Ensure consistency in visual language, typography, colors, and iconography across projects.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends in design, UI/UX practices, and tools.

Requirements

Ideal Candidate

  • 2 to 4 years of relevant industry experience.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing both UI/UX and graphic design projects.
  • Proficiency in design tools: Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro), Canva.
  • Knowledge in using AI tools for designing.
  • Basic animation/video editing experience
  • Hands-on experience in using web design platforms (e.g., Wix, Wedflow or Framer).
  • Strong understanding of typography, layout, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and attention to detail.
  • Open to learning, experimenting, and stepping outside comfort zones.

Joining Our Team (Interview Process)

  • HR Screening Call We will connect with you on a 15-20 minute call. No preparation is needed. In this call, we will discuss:
    • Your background and experience.
    • An overview of your portfolio and previous work.
    • Your interest in the role and our company.
    • Your availability and salary expectations.
Based on this discussion, you will receive a design assignment to assess your design thinking abilities and execution process & skills.

  • Preliminary Round If your task is all on point, we will connect to discuss your thought process in the making of the task and to explain the ‘why’ of it. We will also ask furthermore questions to analyze your technical acumen and check if you’d fit best for the role.
  • L1 Interview with Senior Designer If you reach this stage, it automatically means that we’re convinced of your technical skills. However, in this round we will still evaluate how good is your team dynamics and workflow and whether you can handle multiple design types and priorities.
  • L2 – HR & Culture Fit Round This round will help us understand your personality, working style, and alignment with Syook’s culture. We’ll also talk about growth opportunities, work environment, and answer your questions.
  • Offer & Onboarding If selected, you’ll receive a formal offer letter with compensation details. Upon acceptance, onboarding includes:
    • Access to design tools and platforms.
    • Meet and greet with the team.
    • Assignment of your first design project.
