Major Global Bank is seeking for a Virtualization Developer / Engineer for a mission critical role who will be based in Singapore and will be supporting their global virtualization program. This is a hands-on engineering role that blends infrastructure automation with modern development practices.

The position emphasizes full stack development and collaboration across technical teams to ensure seamless operations and fast issue resolution.

Duties Include

• Design and implement automation solutions for virtual desktop platforms across development and production environments.
• Develop end-to-end workflows and platform tools using JavaScript, C#, PowerShell, or similar languages.
• Build and integrate secure APIs to improve automation, scalability, and monitoring of virtual environments.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to diagnose and resolve issues impacting platform performance.
• Contribute to the architecture, documentation, and lifecycle management of virtualization initiatives.
• Maintain strong engineering hygiene by documenting decisions and changes using platforms like JIRA and Confluence.
  
  

Must-Have

• 5–10 years of experience designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining production systems.
• Strong coding background with experience in JavaScript, C#, PowerShell, and SQL.
• Good understanding of virtualization platforms, virtual desktop concepts, and system architecture.
• Proven experience working across development, staging, and production environments.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycles and CI/CD principles.
• Ability to build and work with RESTful APIs for integration and automation.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in infrastructure or operations engineering.
• Experience working with automated deployment pipelines and version control systems such as Bitbucket or Git.
• Exposure to enterprise virtual desktop environments and security-conscious deployment patterns.
