Position Summary:

Perforce is looking for a Video/Multimedia Specialist! This position will work closely with Marketing team and the Senior Multimedia Specialist to produce motion graphics and video for a variety of deliverables, highlighting the Perforce Software solutions and concepts. From creating custom animation and social content to capturing product tutorials and directing customer interviews, this position will enjoy a variety of multimedia disciplines.

Candidates must have a portfolio of work that showcases 2D animation and film editorial to be considered for the role.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate varied software concepts in a ‘snackable’ format
• Prioritize multiple, concurrent video projects based on need, visibility, and business impact to effectively serve in a shared services capacity.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Development, Sales, and Support to produce a range of educational, promotional, and demonstrational videos for current and prospective customers
• Storyboard, script, produce, and review a variety of videos with internal and external stakeholders
• Repurpose new and existing content for presentation in multiple digital formats
• Enable self-service by providing best practice direction and templates (where applicable) to team members
• Manage video platform infrastructure required to maintain and verify media assets
• Capture and convert video using industry standard techniques
  
  
  
  

Requirements:

• 3-5+ years of experience in graphic design with (Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop)
• 3-5+ years of experience in motion graphics or 2D animation (Adobe After Effects) with an emphasis on icons, typography, and storytelling. Character animation is a plus
• 3-5+ years in film editorial (Adobe Premiere Pro & Audition) Film production experience is a plus
• BS/MS in Digital Communications, Multimedia Design or related field
• Advanced understanding of online multimedia applications and capabilities
  
  
  
  

Preferred Skills:

• Highly Organized with project file structure & timelines
• Comfortable setting up a shoot (lighting, audio, camera) and directing people on camera
• The ability to keep project files and assets organized and properly archived
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience managing multiple libraries within a video hosting platform (Brightcove, Wistia, etc.)
• Expert knowledge of Camtasia, Guidde, or comparable screen recording software
• Diplomatic ability to work with internal and external subject matter experts
• Experience in a software or software-related industry
