Bastion Security is seeking Video Surveillance Operators for its Video Central Station in Rancho Cucamonga, California. The ideal candidates for this position will have a solid track record in central station monitoring or dispatch operations or military experience with liaison operations/military police.
Video Surveillance Operators will process and interpret video images and supervisory alarm signals from customers ensuring timely, accurate response to off-normal conditions.
Qualifications
1-year experience in a central station, emergency dispatch environment, or military police/liaison.
High School diploma, technical or computer school a plus.
High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office® and Internet Explorer.
Ability to work long hours at a computer monitor without degradation of performance.
Ability to multi-task.
Duties And Responsibilities Include The Following
Conduct video guard tours of customer sites. Report and log all off-normal activity. Dispatch guards or police as instructed in customer post orders.
Respond to alarm and supervisory signals. Notify and/or dispatch personnel as instructed in the post orders.
Keep precise logs and records of all shift activity.
Follow-up on outstanding items insuring next shift operators and leadership team are aware of issues still in need of resolution.
React with precision and calm to emergencies.
Handle people under stress with sensitivity and firmness.
Build positive relationships with customers.
Minimum Qualifications & Educational Requirements
High School Diploma / GED
Ability to pass background check; no criminal background and clean driving record
Ability to pass drug screen
Working Conditions
Indoor work at our Video Central Station
Work hours will start as Night Shift and Swing Shift
Flexibility to work beyond regular working hours as needed
