Job Title: Video Editor & Social Media Manager

VA Owls is a growing virtual assistant agency dedicated to helping businesses streamline their operations and grow their online presence. We are looking for a Video Editor with Social Media Management & Marketing (SMM) experience to join our team. If you have a creative mindset, strong editing skills, and a strategic understanding of social media, we’d love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
• Edit engaging short-form and long-form videos for social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.).
• Manage and schedule content across social media channels using GoHighLevel (GHL).
• Develop and implement social media strategies to boost engagement and brand awareness.
• Optimize videos with captions, motion graphics, and trending elements to maximize reach.
• Analyze social media performance and adjust strategies based on insights.
• Engage with audiences, respond to comments/messages, and build community interactions.
• Use ClickUp to manage tasks, track progress, and collaborate with the team.
• Stay updated on video and social media trends to keep content fresh and relevant.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in video editing (portfolio required).
• Background in social media management & marketing with a track record of growing engagement.
• Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, etc.).
• Experience with GoHighLevel (GHL) and ClickUp is a strong plus.
• Strong understanding of social media algorithms, trends, and best practices.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and contribute creative ideas.
