Role Description

We’re on the hunt for a skilled and ambitious video editor who knows the editing game and is hungry to level up their craft. If you live for storytelling through edits, understand pacing, and want your work seen by thousands every day—this is for you.

🔧 Your Role:

Transform raw footage into high-retention YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and long-form YouTube videos that grab attention and retain it. You’ll create 3–5 snappy videos daily, using motion graphics, kinetic typography, smooth transitions, and trend-based editing styles.

🎯 What You'll Be Doing:

Edit long-form podcast/interview-style content and slice them into snackable high-retention Shorts/Reels

Add text animation, emojis, sound effects, and motion graphics that pop in the first 3 seconds

Maintain platform-native ratios (9:16, 16:9) and optimize for YouTube, IG, LinkedIn

Use trending audio, match cuts, fast-paced storytelling

Build and use templates/presets for quicker editing workflows

Leverage AI tools to accelerate rough cuts and subtitles

Organize final assets on Notion and Google Drive

Follow weekly trendboards and iterate fast on feedback

Qualifications

• Skills in Video Editing and Video Production
• Experience with Video Color Grading and Motion Graphics
• Understanding of Graphics and their role in video content
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar
• Strong attention to detail and a creative mindset
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Relevant experience in video editing or a related field is a plus
• Strong command over Premiere Pro, After Effects, ps, etc
• Ability to create simple yet effective animations and on-brand motion graphics
• Good Sense of music, timing, and storytelling
• Creative eye, is up to date with industry trends and produces premium quality of edits.
• Bonus: Experience working with creator-led brands or startups
