Job Title: Video Editor

Role Responsibilities

• Edit high-quality videos for various projects, ensuring the final product matches the vision and requirements.
• Collaborate with directors and producers to understand project concepts and objectives.
• Select and edit video footage, audio, and graphics to create compelling visual stories.
• Implement feedback from team members and clients to optimize video content.
• Perform color correction and grading to enhance the visual quality of footage.
• Incorporate sound design, music, and sound effects to produce engaging audio-visual content.
• Create motion graphics and animations to enhance video storytelling.
• Manage and organize video files, with careful attention to detail regarding project organization.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and editing software advancements.
• Ensure timely delivery of projects while adhering to quality standards.
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating strong time management skills.
• Prepare final video products for delivery in various formats.
• Assist in the development of creative concepts to meet project needs.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas.
• Support other team members and take on additional tasks as needed.
  
  

Qualifications

• Prior experience in editing podcast is MANDATORY
• Prior experience in making ad reels is MANDATORY
• Proven experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio of work.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro.
• Experience with motion graphics software like After Effects is a plus.
• Strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and narrative flow.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of sound design and audio mixing.
• Ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
• Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with trends in video production and editing.
• Degree in Film, Media, or a related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of color grading tools and techniques.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple assets and edit timelines.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
