Job Summary: The Jr. Video Editor will assist in creating and editing video content for various platforms, including social media, websites, and marketing campaigns. This role involves collaborating with the creative team to produce engaging and high-quality videos that align with the company’s brand and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Video Editing:
Edit raw video footage into polished final products.
Ensure videos meet quality and technical standards, including color correction, sound editing, and motion graphics.
Content Creation:
Assist in creating video content for social media, websites, and marketing campaigns.
Develop creative concepts and storyboards in collaboration with the creative team.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the Senior Video Editor, graphic designers, and other team members to ensure cohesive visual storytelling.
Provide input and support during brainstorming sessions and creative meetings.
Asset Management:
Organize and maintain video assets, ensuring they are easily accessible and up-to-date.
Manage and archive completed video projects.
Technical Skills:
Use video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
Apply effects, transitions, and animations to enhance video quality.
Quality Control:
Review and revise video content based on feedback from the creative team and stakeholders.
Ensure all video content adheres to brand guidelines and standards.
Research and Trends:
Stay updated on the latest video editing trends, tools, and techniques.
Incorporate new ideas and innovations into video projects to keep content fresh and engaging.
Additional Tasks:
Assist with video shoots, including setting up equipment and managing on-set tasks.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Video Editor or Creative Director.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Media Arts, or a related field is preferred.
1-2 years of experience in video editing or a related role.
Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
Basic knowledge of graphic design software (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Photoshop) is a plus.
Skills:
Strong visual storytelling and creative skills.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Understanding of social media platforms and video content requirements.
Working Conditions:
