Role Description

We are looking for a dynamic, visionary Vice President of Engineering to join our leadership team at InsightLoop. Based in Berlin, you will be responsible for leading our world-class software engineering team, driving the technical direction, and ensuring our platform’s architecture supports scalable, enterprise-level solutions. As a key member of the executive team, you will collaborate closely with the Founder Team to align technical strategies with our mission of delivering game-changing insights to global teams.

In this strategic role, you will champion innovation, navigate complex software challenges, and ensure the seamless execution of our most ambitious projects. You will build and nurture a high-performance engineering culture, attracting top talent, and empowering teams to execute with excellence.

You will report directly to the Founder Team and be a key driver of InsightLoop’s continued success and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the software engineering team to deliver innovative, scalable, and high-performance solutions.
• Define and execute the technical vision and strategy for the company, aligning engineering efforts with business goals and product roadmaps.
• Spearhead the architecture and design of enterprise-level software solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
• Drive continuous improvement in software development processes, fostering a culture of high-quality engineering and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Marketing, Sales) to deliver customer-centric solutions and drive product innovation.
• Provide thought leadership on emerging technologies and industry trends, ensuring InsightLoop stays at the cutting edge of engineering practices.
• Play a key role in attracting, developing, and retaining top-tier engineering talent, building an inclusive and high-performing engineering culture.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in Software Development with a focus on Enterprise Software.
• Deep expertise in IT Strategy, Product Management, and Engineering Leadership.
• Strong background in architecture and designing scalable, secure, and reliable systems.
• Extensive experience leading large, distributed engineering teams with a focus on driving high performance and innovation.
• Exceptional problem-solving, analytical thinking, and ability to navigate complex technical challenges.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior leadership.
• Master's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with global teams and an international work environment is a plus.
• Passion for working in a high-growth, fast-paced startup environment with a focus on creating impactful, user-centric products.
