Summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Director of Business Development in Jacksonville, FL. The right person will lead the clients commercial initiatives across the Americas for logistics and transportation. This role will oversee business development strategy and execution, with a strong focus on customer growth, diversification, and alignment with the broader commercial roadmap. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with deep industry knowledge and the ability to lead cross-functional efforts across diverse markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a core member of the commercial leadership team, driving customer account development and strategic service expansion across the Americas.
  • Develop and execute commercial strategies aligned with broader business goals, focusing on revenue growth, market expansion, and customer diversification.
  • Represent the organization as a leader in quality and reliability within the industry.
  • Ensure commercial strategies are consistently aligned across multiple market segments and business units.
  • Collaborate with local and regional leadership to drive commercial initiatives and ensure accountability for defined targets.
  • Contribute to the structure and management of the organization’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and data integrity.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience in commercial strategy, business development, or key account management, preferably within logistics, transportation, or a related sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement growth strategies across multiple markets or countries.
  • Experience with CRM platforms and data-driven commercial planning.
