The Meta Corporate Development team focuses on M&A, strategic opportunities and the development of our corporate strategy. This leader will manage the Corporate Development Deal team responsible for identifying, evaluating, and executing public and private company acquisitions, joint ventures, minority investments, and other strategic initiatives. As the Head of the Deal team, you will lead high-impact Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) initiatives, driving projects of significant complexity and scale, collaborate with executive leadership to define corporate strategy, identify growth opportunities, and lead negotiations with potential partners and acquisition targets. The ideal candidate will have a passion for consumer tech along with strong analytical and leadership skills. 15+ years experience in a mix of venture capital, consulting, investment banking, strategy or corporate development roles in the technology industry 7+ years of Corporate Development deal experience Experience managing and mentoring teams of Corporate Development professionals Proven technology industry experience with an acumen to engage with product and engineering leaders on tech roadmaps Proven quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, fluency in performing rigorous financial, valuation and other quantitative analyses Effective interpersonal and communication skills, including with C-level executives Proven relationships in the technology industry and community
