Vessel Operations Supervisor

Job Description:

The Vessel Operations Supervisor is mainly responsible for ensuring that the daily operational requirements / targets in the following functions are done/met:

• Timely communication to sustain service integrity
• Terminal productivity monitoring management

Main Responsibilities:

• Handles all responsibilities pertaining to the assigned ONE operated service.
• Attends to internal, RHQ, terminal office and port operator inquiries / concerns.
• Verifies vendor billings.
• Ensures permits with PPA and Marina are up to date.
• Provides discharging lists and DG manifests to the terminal office.
• Computes and prepares recoverable charges.
• Arranges to the port operator requests pertaining to containers.
• Ensures that all functions are aligned with the department’s direction.
• Provides ideas and suggestions for process enhancements.
• Ensures that the responsibilities of the team members are properly executed, and daily operational targets are met.
• Manages the resources of the team to optimize productivity.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Customs Administration or any related fields of study.
• At least five (5) years of related work experience in shipping / logistics / transportation
• Must have good oral and written English communication skills
• Can start immediately
