We are looking for a

Technical Inside Sales Specialist

Analytical Columns, Process Resins, and GPC Systems (m/f/d)

near Darmstadt/Frankfurt


This hybrid role combines sales responsibilities with technical expertise. The main mission is to help develop and execute business strategies across the EMEA region, focusing on qualifying leads, nurturing opportunities, and driving revenue growth from a defined customer base—especially those involved with biomolecules. The product range includes analytical columns, advanced detectors, process resins, and multi-column chromatography systems.

The role collaborates closely with Field Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and Technical teams to cultivate lasting customer relationships.

Position Details

Reports to: Sales Manager EMEA

Responsibilities

  • Building customer relationships to achieve revenue targets – via active selling through phone and digital communication
  • Acting as a technical expert to understand customer goals, priorities and challenges to provide solutions best suited to address customer needs.
  • Effective communication internally and externally
  • Responsibility for sales and margins of assigned customer base
  • Execution of lead qualification campaigns in cooperation with Marketing and Field Sales
  • Regular use of analytics tools and CRM system to document and monitor customer interactions and success
  • Attend regional and national events and trade shows as applicable

Key Responsibilities

The Technical Inside Sales Specialist serves both as a sales representative as well as a technical expert for the customers. It is your main mission to help develop and execute a business plan to qualify leads, develop opportunities and grow revenues of an assigned customer base.

Candidate Profile

Personal Competencies:

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Strong team player
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized with effective time management
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%

Educational Background:

  • Degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Bioprocessing, or Chemistry

Professional Experience:

  • Experience in analytical and/or process chromatography
  • Prior experience in sales or customer support is a plus
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in additional EMEA languages (especially from Southern or Eastern Europe) is highly advantageous
