Job Title: GNCP FSW - Verification Engineer – Orion Program

Position Overview
We are seeking a GNCP FSW Verification Engineer to support the verification and validation of the Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GN&C) Flight Software (FSW) for the Orion spacecraft. This role will focus on developing and executing software test procedures to ensure the reliability and safety of Orion’s mission-critical flight software.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute Python-based test scripts for software verification.
Perform functional and regression testing to validate GN&C flight software behavior.
Collaborate with software engineers and systems engineers to refine test requirements.
Analyze test results, document discrepancies, and support debugging activities.
Work with simulation tools such as Matlab/Simulink to validate GN&C algorithms.
Ensure compliance with NASA and Lockheed Martin software verification standards.
Maintain a high level of detail orientation to ensure rigorous software validation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Proficiency in Python for software testing and automation.
Experience in software testing , including test case development and execution.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills in a flight software environment.
Desired Skills
Matlab/Simulink experience for GN&C analysis and simulation.
Computer Science (CS) background or equivalent experience.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a highly regulated environment.
