Job Title: Vehicle Operator Instructor
Location: Camp Lejeune, NC
Overview:
SkyBridge Tactical is seeking a motivated Vehicle Operator Instructor that has the knowledge, skills and attributes to implement and evaluate instruction on the systems, subsystems, equipment controls and routine preventative maintenance functions at the operator level. Must be able to review and provide recommended changes to course curricula, lesson plans, student guides, and audio-visual aids in support of lesson material and examinations. They shall deliver instruction incident events identified for the Assault Amphibious Family of Vehicles (FOVs), and the associated training systems. Additionally, will be responsible to maintain and update their assigned periods of instruction and other administrative tasks associated with maintenance of the operator curriculum

Responsibilities:
The Vehicle Operator Instructor’s Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Deliver instruction on ACV operations, including system/subsystem controls, operator-level maintenance, and waterborne procedures.
- Ensure all operator training meets the proficiency standards set by AATOPS 01-ACV2, including required swimming qualifications for waterborne vehicle operations.
- Conduct instruction on tasks such as inspections, PMCS, and technical references applicable to ACV operations and maintenance at the operator level.
- Maintain and update assigned periods of instruction, lesson plans, and training records in accordance with curriculum requirements.
- Review and provide recommendations for changes to training content, including lesson plans, student guides, visual aids, and evaluations.
- Support the delivery of training incident events and scenarios as defined within the ACV FoV programs and associated training systems.
- Utilize and reference current operator-level technical manuals and associated instructional materials.
- Perform administrative tasks related to curriculum maintenance and instructor responsibilities.
Required Qualifications:
- Must be current USMC Swim Quall Intermediate, or capable of qualifying as such.
- Must have a current SVET qualification or capable of qualifying in the SVET.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English, including technical terminology related to operation, maintenance, and assembly/disassembly of vehicle systems.
- Demonstrated experience in instructing ACV or comparable combat vehicle operations.
- Familiarity with Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) and technical references at the operator level.
- Strong instructional, communication, and evaluation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior military experience within the armored vehicle community with an emphasis on 4 years experience in an Assault Amphibian Battalion as an operator, mechanic, or communicator.
- Prior military experience within the Stryker Combat Vehicle community as an operator, mechanic, or communicator.
- Preferred graduates of Instructor Development Course (IDC) and or Curriculum Developers Course (CDC). Prior Formal Learning Center experience is a plus.
