Work with test engineers to ensure full test coverage is defined and implemented.
Work with the calibration engineers to identify necessary testing and validation activities.
Determine and assemble test specific setup requirements to perform verification/validation on the vehicle platform.
Work closely with the software and hardware engineering project teams to understand requirements.
Work with functional safety engineers to develop test plans and validation criteria as per ISO 26262.
Execute in-vehicle-level testing across the program lifecycle (i.e., in development of vehicle control features; as regression within software release cycles; and fault injection testing).
Identify, develop, and implement methods to automate and streamline testing.
Work with sub-system and component-level test teams to ensure appropriate test coverage exists (e.g., at HIL and SIL levels).
Participate and represent the team in the safety architecture and design reviews for vehicle features, FMEAs and impact analysis hosted by various stakeholders.
Document and track issues as appropriate and participate in triaging of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution.
