Job Title: VB.Net Developer

Job Purpose: HPC Sales Ltd. t/a TJ O'Mahony is seeking to recruit a talented and motivated VB.Net Developer to join their expanding IT Team in Dublin. The successful applicant will play a key role in enhancing and expanding their suite of products and services. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute directly to the success of a growing business.

Duties and Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the team and key business stakeholders to design, develop and enhance our software products.

Leverage the latest technologies to build scalable and robust applications.

Contribute to architectural decisions to ensure optimal product performance and integration with 3rd party systems that our business operates on.

Stay updated on emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions to improve products.

Testing and Documentation of all developments.

Any other duties as required in accordance with the requirements of the business.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience in software development with a focus on VB.Net.

Strong knowledge of relational databases (preference for Postgres).

Experience with RESTful APIs.

Advantageous Skills

Knowledge of the building materials and/or retail industry or similar domains.

Experience with web technologies.

Report writing skills (Crystal Reports).

File exchange protocols (ftp/sftp).
