You Are

As a Validation Technician you will be working for 1 of our clients in the semiconductor’s field. This is an onsite position in Heredia.

The Opportunity

• As a Validation Technician you will be responsible, but not limited to:
• Testing PC platform and sub-systems, triaging, filing bugs.
• Taking ownership of bugs and following them to closure.
• Enabling new features on Platform and OS.
  
  

This position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.

What You Need

• At least 1+ years of experience in the following areas:
• PC Platform and mother board architecture.
• Computer peripherals and motherboard components (PCIe, USB, USB-C, TBT, SATA, PCH, ICH, BIOS, UEFI, RAM, CPU, GPU).
• Power states of system and devices (ACPI – S-states, C-states, D-states).
• Driver and firmware and has experience of deploying them on a system.
• Subsystems like Multimedia, communications, sensors etc.
• Windows OS and it's features.
• Triage Platform/ ingredient/ OS issues.
• Bug life cycle and any bug management tool like Jira, HSD, VSO, etc.
• Able to lift 25 to 40 lbs of weight.
• English and Spanish.
• Should be willing to work in Staggered Shifts/Weekends as required.
