Lead the validation activities for Automotive Interiors programs as primary interface to customer
Facilitate Physical Validation activities with Customers, PDTs, and Test facilities: Document disposition and drive issue closure to meet program timing.
Obtain timely test vendor quotes for all testing activities, facilitate testing by creating purchase Orders and Test Requests
Support Inteva pursuit/quote team with cost estimates
Represent Inteva at Customer Reviews
Develop, manage and publish DVP&R for specific programs to meet program timing.
Participate in benchmarking activities
Work effectively in a team environment with a cross-functional team: design, tooling, CAE, quality, Craftsmanship, manufacturing, financial, purchasing, sales
Develop and maintain timing plans
Establish effective communications (written and verbal) between customers, internal groups and suppliers
Generate and implement cost savings ideas

Position Requirements
Education
BSME degree or equivalent experience in Testing, Validation, and/or Engineering.
Required
3+ years of validation engineering/testing experience in the automotive industry.
Ability to use lab equipment to support Interiors validation testing.
Experience in working with suppliers and customers
Energetic personality: Self-starter with a high passion for success.
Excellent organization and planning skills.
Ability to manage and coordinate multiple complex tasks simultaneously.
Ability to travel.
Microsoft Office proficiency: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
