Validation Process Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a Validation Process Engineer to join a company that specializes in providing specialty chemical blends across various industries, including ethanol, chemical, and industrial products. This role will focus on validating the manufacturing process for 190 proof Ethanol and its subsequent final drug product. The position requires revisions to ensure compliance with FDA regulations following a recent customer audit. The engineer will validate the manufacturing process and collaborate with production teams to implement the process.
Responsibilities
* Validate the manufacturing process for 190 proof Ethanol and subsequent drug products.
* Ensure compliance with FDA regulations following customer audits.
* Collaborate with chemical compounders, operators, and laboratory staff.
* Communicate effectively in cross-functional teams during implementation.
* Spend significant time on the production floor and some in an office cubicle space.
Essential Skills
* Proven experience with written validations in consumer goods or manufacturing.
* Extensive knowledge of FDA process validation and product manufacturing.
* Ability to articulate experience working with multiple products and validations.
* Experience working with cross-functional teams including lab, compounding, production.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
* Chemical knowledge is advantageous, especially for collaboration with laboratory teams.
* Experience working with hazardous chemicals is helpful.
* Bachelor's Degree is not required; extensive experience is preferred.
Work Environment
The position is based in a chemical manufacturing environment, with time spent both on the production floor and in an office cubicle setting.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $47.00/hr.
