Job Title: UX designer

Location: San Jose, CA (Onsite)

Duration: Contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and engineers to translate design concepts into responsive, interactive user interfaces

• Build, test, and refine UI components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks

• Ensure usability, accessibility, and performance of web applications

• Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on feasibility and implementation

• Work closely with back-end developers to integrate APIs and services

• Maintain design consistency and follow brand guidelines across all digital assets

• Troubleshoot and resolve UI/UX issues across platforms and devices

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 4+ years of professional front-end or UX development experience

• Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and responsive design principles

• Experience with frameworks/libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js

• Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility and web accessibility standards (WCAG)

• Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred:

• Previous experience at Cisco Systems Inc.

• Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments

• Understanding of design systems and component-based architecture
