We are currently searching for a UX Designerto complement our team. The ideal candidate will be MSI'sinternal hands-on UX champion who can own our design system, drive continuous user-research, and act as the daily point-of-contact for the agency. If you’re a driven individual contributor who loves turning insights into elegant, scalable interface patterns - and can win peers over with evidence-backed opinions - this is your playground.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own & evolve the MSI Design System
• Audit UI across web & mobile products
• Build, document, and govern a Figma component library mapped to our React/Material-UI codebase
• Be the internal “client” for our external design agency
• Translate product briefs into design tickets & feedback cycles
• Review deliverables for usability, consistency, and feasibility
• Run lean user-research end-to-end
• Plan, recruit, moderate, and synthesize usability tests & interviews
• Share insights that directly inform roadmap priorities
• Gather continuous internal feedback
• Facilitate lightweight design reviews with Product Owners, Customer Success, and Execs
• Champion evidence-based decisions and “show, don’t tell” prototypes
• Deliver hands-on UX/UI
• User flows, wireframes, hi-fi comps, interactive prototypes (Figma)
• Annotated specs & close partnership with engineers
  
  

Requirements:

• 4+ years’ pragmatic UX/UI experience within SaaS products
• Expert-level Figma chops; familiarity with Material Design / MUI a plus
• Proven ability to plan & run usability tests, interviews, surveys, and synthesis solo
• Comfortable steering external vendors while staying hands-on with your own designs
• Strong, constructive opinions - backed by data, user empathy, and crisp storytelling
• Working knowledge of front-end constraints (React, HTML/CSS) to speak dev’s language
• Self-starter mindset: you create momentum and achieve buy-in with minimal oversight
