Job Description
As UX Designer you will drive the development and delivery of user experience research and analysis and collate, synthesise and interpret customer insights to make recommendations for improvements to digital products and channels.
You will identify potential useability issues and design opportunities and assist content designers to write web content that minimises identified painpoints and increases the successful completion of online user tasks.
Additionally, you will work collaboratively with teams across the organisation to implement improvements to digital products & channels and collaborate with the customer experience team to uplift experience design across the organization.
You will also
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate UX insights to stakeholders
- Produce experience design assets including customer journey maps and wireframes
- Work with the Digital Products team to deliver day to day website changes and improvements
This is a permanent full time position with an annual salary range of $82,400 - $93,303 per annum + 11.5 % superannuation and a monthly accrued day off. We come together at least 3 days a week so we can collaborate in our vibrant office culture. When on-site you will enjoy modern and sustainable facilities and office spaces.
You are based within our bright, modern and sustainable 311 Glenferrie Road office on the corner of High Street and Glenferrie Road in Malvern where boutique stores, cafes and health clubs are in abundance. From the office you can easily walk to Malvern Gardens, High Street Armadale or Glenferrie Road. Malvern and Armadale Train Station are a short walk away and tram stops are out the front of the building.

Desired Skills And Experience
To succeed in this position you will need:
- Solid customer-centric focus, core understanding of the customer lifecycle and customer needs
- Ability to simplify and explain concepts for stakeholders with little knowledge of UX
- Sound understanding of the values, behaviours and strategies required to create exceptional customer experiences for both internal and external customers
- Experience in UX design and research
- Proficient use in the Microsoft Office suite and design tools, including Figma and Miro
- A demonstrated skill diversity including initiative, attention to detail, flexibility and curiosity
- Proven ability to work in a team environment and positively contribute to the team
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and departments to achieve common goals
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- UX certification
- Preferable: undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
