About This Opportunity
We at Design and User Experience department within Business Area Networks are now looking for a UX Architect to focus on the latest innovations in Ericsson’s product portfolio.
We’re shaping the future of user experience across Ericsson’s most complex systems—RAN Architect, from radio networks to cloud-native solutions. As we scale our design impact across technology domains, we’re looking for a UX Architect to help us drive clarity, structure, and strategy in how we build design for scale and complexity.
As a UX Architect you will focus on the structural design of user experiences across complex systems and digital products. You will operate at a broader scale—defining how content, navigation, and functionality are organized across the entire product ecosystem.
What You Will Do
- Architect UX across systems: Organize and structure content in ways that are intuitive and easy to navigate, using sitemaps, taxonomies, and content hierarchies.
- Experience Mapping & Flow Design: Drive the creation of UX frameworks, shared principles, and reusable patterns that improve coherence, reduce duplication, and enable sustainable design growth across product areas.
- Facilitate alignment and strategy: Work with design and non-design stakeholders to bridge user needs with platform capabilities, balancing immediate goals with long-term UX quality and consistency.
- Champion information architecture: Define and evolve models that support intuitive navigation, scalable workflows, and clarity in high-density, enterprise-level UIs.
- Enable collaboration and governance: Support Ericsson Design system integration, General Product Requirements, handoff documentation, and decision rationale to guide implementation and ensure UX intent is preserved.
- Elevate design maturity: Help define what “good” looks like across user experience architecture, bringing in research, systems thinking, and strategic design to support design-led ways of working.
The Skills You Bring
- A systems thinker with a passion for structuring UX in large-scale, technical environments.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity, building frameworks that bring clarity and enable action.
- You collaborate naturally across disciplines and advocate for user value while understanding technical constraints.
- You have experience with design systems, large information structures, and coordinating across multiple teams or products.
- We’re looking for someone who has…
- 5+ years in UX Architecture, Interaction Design, or UX roles
- Experience designing for enterprise or technical domains
- Strong collaboration skills with product managers, system engineers, developers, and architects, technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools: Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
- Familiarity with Ericsson technologies or telecom systems is a plus - but curiosity and adaptability matter more.
How To Apply
We ask that you showcase your portfolio to demonstrate your ability to create solutions and digital experiences that strengthen the connection between users and the product. If you consider yourself a strong designer but haven’t had the time to prepare an online portfolio—don’t hesitate to apply.
