Tecture is an established web and application development firm that is looking for a User Experience professional with front end development experience. You will need to be a Problem-Solving Expert - both in using your UX experience to build seamless experiences and also being able to debug existing challenges. Your primary role will be creating and building beautiful custom websites. You will be using your talent to solving business challenges through clean simple user experience and design. Additional responsibilities include front-end web development, web design, debugging, and creatively solving a wide range of challenges. We foster a casual, fun, collaborative environment. Desired skills: Proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator with a clean and organized workflow HTML, CSS and JavaScript An active proponent of web standards, usability, and accessibility Emphasis on clean, usable, and sophisticated layouts Solid understanding of web, interface and/or experience design Working knowledge of HTML and CSS Passion for creating engaging, usable and interactive projects Dedication to delivering on-time Solid understanding of web, interface and/or experience design Excellent written and verbal client communication skills Problem-solving Bonus Skills: A degree in HCI/UX or equivalent jQuery and any other programing language like ASP.net iPhone, Android, and mobile web design and development Knowledge of WordPress Tecture's office is located in downtown Chicago, however, currently, we are working remotely, and will transition back to in office when it is safe to do so.
