Our Client, a Leader in the Global Dairy Industry, needs your expertise for their Upstate NY location!

SOME of What You'll Be Doing:

Responsible for the safe, reliable, and compliant operation of all facility utilities, ensuring uninterrupted production and site activities. Drives energy efficiency initiatives and sustainability efforts to reduce environmental impact/carbon footprint and operational costs.

Utilities Management & Maintenance:

• Oversee safe operation, maintenance, and repair of critical systems:
• Perform hands-on maintenance of boilers and machinery.
• Implement and maintain a Process Safety Management (PSM) program.
• Ensure installations comply with safety codes and regulations.
• Develop preventative maintenance plans to optimize efficiency.
• Conduct employee training on energy-efficient practices.

Energy Efficiency & Regulatory Compliance:

• Set and track site energy reduction targets and carbon reduction goals.
• Develop and update an energy management plan aligned with sustainability objectives.
• Support Engineering in determining energy needs for capital projects.
• Maintain an energy tracking and monitoring system and lead a cross-functional energy team.
• Conduct energy audits, identify savings opportunities, and report findings to NYSERDA and facility leadership.

If You Have:

• Bachelor’s degree (Engineering preferred)
• 5–6 years in maintenance/utilities management including:

- Ammonia refrigeration

- Boilers and steam systems

- Electrical systems

- HVAC

• 5–6 years in a leadership role
• Food manufacturing experience preferred
