Job Description Role Purpose The purpose of this role is to design and develop the user interface of a product/ application as per the customer’s/ business requirement ͏ Do Design and Development of UI for a Product/Application Collaborate with Business Analyst & Product Manager for a better understanding of functional requirements, analysis, design document Understand the requirements from UX Designer and use agile methodology to create static designs and interactive prototypes Implement features and create presentation layer in accordance with business requirements and UX specifications Develop working prototypes from UI designs for cross-platform devices and ensure cross-browser compatibility Develop and maintain new and existing product's screens by utilizing different technologies in creating component based responsive design Ensure heavy use of Chrome Developer Tools + Firebug to ensure front-end code and assets were optimized and of high-quality Ensure usage of color and font represent integrated brand perception and user experience Collaborate with other user experience designers, UI software engineers and graphic designers to ensure a consistent and integrated user experience Actively participate in design and code review to ensure that overall application is robust, bug-free and easy to maintain ͏ Competency Building Integrate best practices through competency development, multiskilling and by doing mandatory training compliance Participating in continuing education and training to remain current on best practices, learn new programming languages, and better assist other team members.
