What is the job and team like

• We are looking for a UI/UX Designer to work full-time as part of our design, development and strategy team; you’ll be a crucial part of delivering innovative solutions to design problems.

• If you’re passionate about design and have proven experience of designing and prototyping intuitive digital products and services, we would love to talk to you.

• This role requires working closely with our development and project management teams to research, plan and deliver each project.


Roles & Responsibilities

• Putting the user first: UI/UX designers advocate for user needs throughout the design and implementation process.

• Humanizing Technology: A UI/UX Designer’s job is to create user friendly interfaces that enable users to understand how to use complex technical products.

• Mockups & Prototypes: Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like.

• Switching between Products/Tasks: One must be flexible and able to pivot from one task to the next which is an important soft skill for a UI/UX Designer.

• Pro Active Attitude: Actively participate in project goals, raise team morale and deliver high quality scalable work.

• Collaboration with other teams: Contribute to the UI modernization initiative by actively developing functionalities, participating in design discussions, providing guidance to the team where needed.


Requirements

• Experience in creating new products and services individually and as part of a team.

•Design Case Study/Design Portfolio is a must.

•Strong expertise in Figma.

•Team spirit, strong communication skills to collaborate with various stake holders.

•Basic understanding of HTML5, CSS will be a plus.

•Should be up to date with the latest design trends in digital industry.

•Knowledge of designing both responsive web and mobile (iOS & Android).

•Ability to evaluate existing sites in terms of their persuasiveness, emotional design, and conversion, assess properties for usefulness, usability, visual design, content and branding.
