Title: Software Design Engineer (Remote Position) Description: BrightArrow Technologies is currently seeking a Software Design Engineer with experience in large-scale hosted real-time software. Although we are based in Bellevue, WA, we are open to this person working out of their home elsewhere in the U.S. Responsibilities: Design, develop and maintain a variety of the company’s hosted software solutions and mobile apps. Responsibilities include design, development, and maintenance of the company’s main product lines plus customer-specific customizations. Requirements: C#/Java, SQL, Javascript. Proven fundamental knowledge of large-scale and robust software design and development techniques. Track record of developing complex, reliable systems from concept through delivery, and maintenance. Background of strong team collaboration. Passion and fortitude to solve the most difficult problems. Success at developing user-friendly web and app user interfaces. Motivation to wear many hats, with the innate ability to prioritize and succeed while multi- tasking a variety of projects. A deep empathy for customers, and a drive to resolve customer issues and requests quickly. Four-year or advanced degree in software engineering, computer science, or related field.
