UX/UI Designer

Hours: 40hrs a week

Location: Dunwoody, GA

Onsite Requirement: 3 days a week onsite (Tuesday-Thursday), remote Monday/Friday (not negotiable, but flexible for appointments)

Length Of Contract: Ongoing contract, with potential for permanent conversion

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior UX/UI Designer to join our team on a contract basis. This role will be instrumental in two key areas:

Figma Migration & Mockup Development:

• Lead the migration of existing design assets from legacy systems to Figma.
• Rebuild and update all existing mockups and ensure proper linking functionality within the Figma platform.
• Manage a large volume of projects, efficiently rebuilding mockups while maintaining high design standards.
• Leverage your senior-level expertise to contribute to complex design challenges.

Internal Platform Enhancement:

• Play a key role in scaling our flagship internal platform.
• Enhance the platform's user experience to meet the evolving needs of users and internal stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve scalability issues within the existing platform architecture.
• Collaborate with the development team to implement design solutions and ensure a smooth user experience.
• Understand and advocate for the needs of users and the business.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct ongoing research to understand user needs and industry trends.
• Design and develop user-centered interfaces for web and mobile applications.
• Create high-fidelity prototypes and mockups using Figma.
• Collaborate closely with developers to ensure successful implementation of design solutions.
• Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Contribute to the overall design strategy and vision for the company.

Qualifications:

• 3 - 5+ years of professional experience as a UX/UI Designer.
• Strong proficiency in Figma and other design tools.
• Experience with user research methodologies, including user interviews and usability testing.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience with platform design and scalability is a plus.
