Physicians looking for an 8-to-5, 4-day workweek can enjoy a consistent weekday off while practicing medicine and leading a busy outpatient urgent care clinic in Richmond, CA.

The ideal candidate will have experience in Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Occupational Medicine, General Surgery and/or Family Medicine. Visits will consist of work-related injuries, urgent care, and non-injury services. No evenings, no weekends, and no call.

At Concentra, our Medical Directors spend most of their time clinically treating patients; the remaining time is focused on quality improvements and building the center business with the Center Leadership Team. Responsibilities:

• Provides direct patient care, leading by example, and creating an exceptional patient experience
• Provides leadership in healthcare management to ensure day-to-day execution of medical model collaborating with therapists and specialists to drive optimal clinical outcomes and case closure
• Manages clinicians, support staff, and complies with APC supervisory requirements
• Creates a professional and collaborative working environment
• Works with leaders to identify and implement changes to ensure continuous medical clinic improvement
• Maintains relationships with center clients and payers
• Works with medical clinic leadership team to manage clinical and support staffing levels
• Promotes, cultivates, and exemplifies Concentra values for all clinic colleagues
• Fosters an environment of collaboration, professionalism, patient/colleague safety, quality care, continuous improvement and reward and recognition
• Possesses financial awareness and provides input to clinic budget and key business metrics

This position is eligible to earn a base compensation rate in the state range of $225,000.00 to $280,000.00 annually plus Director Stipend depending on job-related factors as permitted by applicable law, such as level of experience, geographic location where the work is performed, and/or seniority. Additional incentive bonuses are available on a quarterly and monthly basis.
