As a result of this expansion, we have an opening for a well-qualified Unmanned Aerial Support Specialist. The Unmanned Aerial Support Specialist position, located in Moorpark, CA, will be responsible for troubleshooting with our customers, updating knowledge base articles, working on aircraft hardware and software issues and responding to all customer inquires about our UAS system . This position reports to the Customer Support Manager. Responsibilities: Documenting customer interactions and issues and drive to resolution. Collaborating with engineering, manufacturing and flight ops team to troubleshoot escalated customer support issues. Troubleshooting process and product configurations to ensure safe and successful flights and missions. Perform post-production functional check flights and test flights in support of internal research and development, new equipment and software testing. Perform operator level maintenance and inspections of UAS. Responsible for compliance with local civil aviation authority regulations and company procedures and practices. 20% travel out in the field to our customers if the problem can not be resolved online. Qualifications: UAS Operations Must possess an FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate. High School diploma or GED equivalent; a bachelor’s degree is preferred or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Excellent analytical, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to professionally interface with all employees, military and civilian customers, contractors, and aircrew. The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment is essential, along with travel as required.
