Unix/Linux Consultant/System Administrator (Job Ref:#200) Responsibilities You will be challenged to recommend and set up advanced server architectures including VPN, Solaris/Checkpoint firewalls, and Apache based Web server farms. You will work with clients to perform needs assessments, resource allocations, develop implementation plans and execute them. You will be called upon to establish and implement best practices in tape backup systems, X-windows, Openwindows, and remote access including telnet/SSH. Qualifications Qualified candidates will have solid experience in designing and implementing Unix neworking environments (Solaris, Linux, HP/UX) and server farms. Experience should include a solid understanding of BIND/DNS, Sendmail, DHCP, NIS and NFS. Candidates should have a thorough knowledge and experience with Sun hardware.
