In this role you will protect homes and the surrounding environment from unwanted pests using industry leading technology. Duties Include:
- Inspect and identify solutions to pest problems
- Provide timely and effective solutions on a preset daily route
- Apply pesticides, baits, and other treatments safely and effectively.
- Educate customers on pest prevention techniques
- Computing basic math problems
- Establish effective working relationships with a variety of customers, both internal and external
- Maintain accurate records of services complete through use of a SMART device
- Operate and maintain pest control equipment and company vehicles
- Respond to customer inquires and provide excellent customer service.
- Conduct follow-up visits to ensure pest problems are resolved.
- Other duties as assigned
Ideal Candidates Will:
- Enjoy working outdoors
- Not have a fear of bugs, snakes, rodents, etc.
- Be able to withstand long periods of squatting, standing and walking
- Be able to carry a 40lb pack on their back
- Be willing and able to crawl through crawl spaces and attics
- Have excellent listening and communication skills
- Be competent with the use of new technology
- Be organized and able to manage their own daily route
Required:
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must have a valid Florida driver's license with minimal moving violation points
- HS Diploma or equivalent preferred
